Kiwi's Treasure Terms & Conditions
Kiwi's Treasure Terms & Conditions outline the rules for using kiwistreasure.co.uk, your account, our promotions, and the limits of our liability as us.
Who these terms cover
These terms apply to anyone who visits kiwistreasure.co.uk or holds a Kiwi's Treasure account (the site, we, us). By using the site or opening an account, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.
We are us of the site and the casino. Bonus rules, payment processing and game integrity all sit under these terms together with the specific promotion terms published on the cashier and promotions pages.
Eligibility
You must be at least 20 years old to use our site or hold an account at Kiwi's Treasure. By visiting, you confirm you are 20 or older. Accounts found to belong to anyone under that age will be closed and balances refunded in line with our licence conditions.
Online gambling is regulated by the laws of your jurisdiction. New Zealand players are responsible for confirming the activity is legal where they live and for following our age and identity verification process before placing a real-money bet.
Your account
Each player may hold one account. Accounts are personal and non-transferable. You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity that takes place under your account.
We may request identity verification documents at any time, in line with our regulatory obligations. Withdrawals may be held until verification is completed.
Deposits, bets and withdrawals
Deposits are credited to your account once cleared by the payment provider. Bets cannot be cancelled once placed and a result is determined. Withdrawals are processed back to the original deposit method where possible.
Specific bonus, payment and game rules are published in the cashier, promotions and game info screens. Those rules form part of these terms.
Promotions and bonuses
Each promotion has its own terms covering wagering, eligibility, maximum bet and game contribution. Those terms are published on the promotion page and apply when you opt in. We may refuse, withdraw or amend a promotion at any time, including where we suspect bonus abuse. Our Bonus Information explains how the standard wagering rules apply.
Accuracy of information
We make every effort to keep bonus terms, payment methods and game library details accurate at the time of publication. Where there is a difference between an editorial page and the live cashier or game screen, the cashier or game screen takes precedence.
No financial or legal advice
Nothing on our site constitutes financial, legal or tax advice. The content is editorial commentary and player guidance. If you need formal advice on the tax treatment of gambling winnings or any related matter, consult a qualified professional.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any direct, indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of our site, your account or your gambling activity. You play at your own risk and at your own discretion.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for fraud, negligence causing personal injury or any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
Intellectual property
All content on our site, including text, graphics, logos and imagery, is owned by us or used with permission. You may not reproduce, redistribute or commercially exploit our content without prior written permission.
Trademark names mentioned on the site (game studio names, payment provider logos and so on) belong to their respective owners.
User conduct
You agree not to misuse the site. That includes attempting to access unauthorised areas, scraping or harvesting content programmatically, attempting to interfere with the operation of the site, or using the site for any purpose that is unlawful.
Account closure and self-exclusion
You can close your account or self-exclude at any time. Self-exclusion is irreversible within the chosen period and overrides any reopening request. Standard closure can usually be reversed by contacting support after a short cooling-off period. The full process is documented on our Close My Account page.
Complaints and dispute resolution
If something has gone wrong, contact our support team first via live chat or email. Most issues are resolved at this level within one business day. If you are not satisfied with the response, you can escalate to our internal complaints team and we will review the case within ten business days.
If the dispute remains unresolved, you can refer it to the alternative dispute resolution provider listed in the footer. Their decision is binding on us. You can also contact the licensing regulator directly if you wish.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always shown on this page with the date of last update. By continuing to use the site after a change, you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where Kiwi's Treasure is licensed. Any disputes arising from your use of the site fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of those courts.
New Zealand players
If you reside in New Zealand, your use of the site is also subject to local consumer protection law. Nothing in these terms removes any consumer right that cannot be excluded under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or the Fair Trading Act 1986. Where local NZ law conflicts with these terms in your favour, your local rights apply.
Communications about your account, KYC and payments are sent in English. Support is available in English through live chat and email. If you need translation help, please mention it in chat and we will do our best to accommodate.
Tax on winnings for NZ players
Casino winnings paid to a recreational player in New Zealand are not generally treated as taxable income, as the activity is treated as a hobby rather than a profession. We do not provide tax advice and we cannot speak to your individual circumstances, particularly if you play professionally or at unusually high volumes. If your situation is anything other than straightforward, please confirm the position with a qualified NZ tax adviser before relying on it.
Where withdrawals route through banks or payment providers based outside New Zealand, foreign exchange and intermediary fees may apply. Those costs are set by the payment provider and not by us, and they are deducted before the funds reach your nominated account.
Contact
Questions about these terms can be sent to support@kiwistreasure.co.uk. We aim to respond within 5 business days.
